Job summary

UCHealth in Aurora, CO is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in Mammography to perform procedures on-site in the Radiology Mammography department. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and MQSA compliance while delivering high-quality imaging.

The candidate will review histories, educate patients, and may assist in interventional procedures. A strong emphasis on teamwork, critical thinking, and patient care is required for success in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered RT with Mammography (M) certification by ARRT or ARRT-R with State Provisional Mammographer and ARRT-M within 12 months.
• BLS certification required with card in-hand before start date; renewals via American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and orders; educate patient about procedures and exam.
• Assist with interventional procedures including fine-needle aspiration and localization.
• Prepare equipment, select exposure factors, perform quality control and MQSA compliance.
• Position patient and perform imaging; analyze results and address image quality issues.
• Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
