Job summary

UCHealth’s MCR BDC in Loveland, CO seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in mammography to perform procedures in a fast-paced, onsite setting. You will review orders, educate patients, administer contrast as needed, and ensure image quality while adhering to MQSA standards.

The role requires ARRT RT and Mammography certification, graduation from an accredited program, and BLS certification. This is an onsite position with no hybrid/remote option.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and certified in Mammography (M) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - or - ARRT-R plus State Provisional Mammographer registration and ARRT-M within 12 months.
• BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross with card in-hand before start date.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history, physician's orders and does scheduling. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.
• May assist physician with performing interventional procedures including fine needle aspiration and needle localization.
• Prepares equipment and supplies. Selects exposure factors and imaging parameters. Maintains safety standards and performs quality control on equipment.
