UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital in Highlands Ranch, CO seeks a Radiologic Technologist - Mammography. This onsite role features a full-time schedule (80 hours per pay period) with day shifts. You perform mammography procedures, educate patients, manage contrast and safety, and ensure MQSA compliance. ARRT-M required; BLS/CPR; RT registered.

Competitive pay $40.40–$56.56 per hour, commensurate with experience. This is an onsite, non-hybrid position. Department: UIS HRH Mob Mammo.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and ARRT-M by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) - or ARRT-R plus State Provisional Mammographer registration and ARRT-M within 12 months.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. BLS/CPR must be valid through sixty days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Reviews patient history and physician orders; educates patient about procedures to ensure understanding.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice when ordered.
• Monitors patient condition and responds to changes as appropriate.
• Assists physician with interventional procedures including fine needle aspiration and needle localization.
• Prepares equipment and supplies; selects exposure factors and imaging parameters.
• Implements safety standards and performs quality control on equipment; troubleshoots malfunctions.
• Ensures MQSA compliance; positions patient and performs imaging; analyzes results and addresses image quality issues.
• Enters, transmits, and reports scan results; works with minimal supervision and in fast-paced environments.
