Job summary

UCHealth Longs Peak Medical Center in Longmont, CO, seeks a Diagnostic Mammography Tech to perform breast sonography and mammography in a full-time onsite role with dayshift. The position emphasizes accuracy, patient education, and adherence to MQSA standards.

Responsibilities include evaluating images, assisting with interventional procedures, and maintaining equipment; required ARRT RT with Mammography, BR/BS certificates, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) with Mammography (M) certification by ARRT.
• Certification in Breast (BR) by ARDMS or Breast Sonography (BS) by ARRT.
• 6 months of Mammography or Breast Sonography experience.
• BLS/CPR through AHA or Red Cross with current card.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician orders; educate patient on procedures and equipment.
• Position patient and perform screening and diagnostic mammography; analyze results and ensure image quality; report scan results.
• Assist physician with interventional procedures including ultrasound and stereotactic biopsies; localize and document findings.
• Prepare equipment and supplies; select imaging parameters; ensure MQSA compliance; perform quality control.
