Job summary

The Scion Group LLC is seeking a Facilities Technician for a fully onsite role in New Brunswick, NJ. You will handle maintenance requests, perform preventive tasks, and prepare apartments for turnovers while ensuring safety and quality service for residents.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid license, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with after-hours availability.

Qualifications

• High school/GED required.
• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) or intent to obtain within six months.
• Clear and effective communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Comfort with basic computer operations and software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the physical condition of the property according to SOPs and safety standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to keep apartments ready.
• Document work performed and parts used with daily submissions.
• Assist in handling service requests and coordinate with residents and management.
• Promote positive resident relations and provide reliable customer service.
• Carry out preventive maintenance tasks and basic carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical work.
