Job summary

Yugo Tallahassee is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the safety and upkeep of the property, handling resident requests and repairs across plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC.

You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor, perform routine inspections, maintain pools and common areas, and participate in on-call emergencies. Onsite role emphasizing service quality and safety.

Qualifications

• 1 year of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing and electrical.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Type I certification preferred.
• Pool maintenance certification preferred where required by local regulation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with technology and online systems.
• Willingness to undertake Carbon Literacy training.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders efficiently with high-quality repairs.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies with excellent service.
• Perform general maintenance: plumbing, electrical, painting, appliance repair, carpentry.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify safety concerns.
• Maintain appearance, safety, and functionality of common areas and units.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents following company standards.
• Maintain pools, spas, and related equipment per regulations.
• Participate in on-call and after-hours maintenance as scheduled.
• Traverse with vendors and manage inventory of tools and supplies.
