Job summary

Yugo Tucson Campus is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the safety and upkeep of the community. You will perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, painting and carpentry, handle inspections, and respond quickly to resident requests while coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor.

This hourly, non-exempt role includes on-call duties, pool care, and OSHA safety compliance. Requires 1 year maintenance experience and HS diploma; EPA Type I cert and pool cert preferred where local

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• EPA Type I certification preferred.
• Pool maintenance certification preferred where required by local regulation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with technology and online systems.
• Carbon Literacy Certification or willingness to undertake training.

Responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders promptly with high-quality repairs.
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies with excellent service.
• Perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for safety concerns.
• Maintain pools, spas, and related equipment per local rules.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents and conduct turn activities.
• Participate in on-call and after-hours maintenance as scheduled.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed.
