Job summary

LG Energy Solution is seeking a Supervisor I, Maintenance in Phoenix, AZ, to lead a team of technicians in a high‑volume manufacturing environment. The role combines hands-on repair and technical support with frontline supervision to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.

You will perform maintenance, support production troubleshooting, defect management, and engineering improvement activities while guiding a team toward operational excellence and workforce development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or technical certificate in engineering, electrical, mechanical, industrial technology, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities and assign work priorities to technology technicians based on production requirements.
• Manage technicians attendance, scheduling, overtime and workforce allocation to support operational needs.
• Provide coaching, performance feedback, and employee development through regular communication and performance evaluation.
• Support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding and training of new technicians.
• Monitor team performance and ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, and work standards.
• Communicate production updates, technology priorities, policy changes, and operational expectations to team members.
• Provide first-response technical support by assisting engineers with troubleshooting production equipment and process issues.
