LG Energy Solution Arizona, Inc. is seeking an on-site Maintenance Specialist to perform direct repairs, preventive maintenance, and program modifications on production equipment to improve line utilization.

The role requires diagnosing complex breakdowns, mentoring junior technicians, and establishing preventive maintenance schedules while maintaining a safe, 5S-compliant work environment. You will collaborate with production teams, document maintenance history, and coordinate with external

Qualifications

At least 15 years of maintenance experience in a production/factory environment (hands-on field repair experience required).
High School Diploma/General Educational Development or higher.
Exposure to dry-room environments with gowning and PPE requirement.
Associate degree preferred or relevant work experience.
Vocational certification (i.e., journeyperson) preferred but not required.
Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) experience preferred but not required.
Technical knowledge in the fields of mechanical and electrical engineering
Must be able to properly and regularly utilize PPE for up to 12 hours (Safety glasses; Steel-toed shoes).
Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds, stoop, twist, bend, reach overhead, sit and/or stand.

Responsibilities

On-site Maintenance: Perform direct repairs, part replacements, and modifications on production equipment and control systems (including PLCs) to ensure normal operation.
Preventive Maintenance (PM) Implementation: Perform preventive maintenance tasks directly on-site according to an established schedule and address hazards identified.
On-site Problem Solving and Coordination: Communicate with production to resolve urgent on-site breakdowns and coordinate work schedules in real time.
Technical Documentation and Analysis: Record repair and maintenance history and analyze MES log data to identify causes and prevent recurrence.
External Collaboration and Schedule Management: Conduct technical consultations with external vendors and manage on-site work schedules.
Technical Guidance and Training: Provide hands-on training to new and junior technicians.
Safety and 5S Compliance: Wear PPE, maintain a safe on-site workspace per 5S.
