Job summary

Essex Property Trust in Foster City, CA is seeking an Operations Coordinator to support maintenance operations across our portfolio. You will prioritize service requests, coordinate vendor scheduling, and assist with project support, working closely with General Operations Managers and Maintenance Supervisors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Experience in customer service or property management is a plus.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize service requests using SightPlan.
• Schedule inspections and move-out activities with residents, in-person or virtual.
• Create purchase orders and track vendor work orders.
• Coordinate vendor scheduling for unit turnovers and maintenance.
• Respond to onsite emergencies and support onsite teams as needed.
• Assist with project support and property access coordination.
