Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform on-site maintenance and jobsite cleanup on new construction projects in Annapolis Junction, MD, including escorting subcontractors and replacing system furniture components.

The role requires documenting work performed, issues found, and materials needed, with potential on-call duties and shift flexibility. Pay rate is $34.81/hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of jobsite experience at the Journeyman level.
• Ability to pass pre-hire background and drug test.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required intelligence community level clearance.
• Valid state driver’s license and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and jobsite cleanup on new construction projects and escorts subcontractors.
• Installs floor protection and dust enclosures; maintains IAQ by replacing mats and filters.
• Uses hand tools, portable power tools, and standard measuring instruments.
• Plans, organizes work and meets deadlines; can perform a variety of tasks in a single day.
• Responds to emergency site maintenance as required.
• Inspects and diagnoses problems to determine corrective repairs.
• Performs on-call and preventive maintenance duties as necessary; maintains stock inventories and material requisitions.
• Operates Government or Defense Base Services owned motor vehicles and/or other equipment.
