Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions is seeking an on-site Laborer in Annapolis Junction, MD to assist skilled trades, maintain interior/exterior areas, and support daily site operations.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 6 months of general labor experience, U.S. citizenship, ability to pass background and drug screening, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift heavy loads. Work is onsite with potential overtime.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent GED.
• Six (6) months experience as a general laborer/general maintenance worker.
• U.S. Citizenship.
• Maintain the required intelligence community level clearance.
• Ability to pass pre-hire background and drug screen.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and team lift 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of all assigned sites by stacking excess materials, collecting and disposing of trash and debris, cleaning floors by sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping.
• Performs litter and debris clean-up around office and surrounding buildings.
• Cleans debris off of windows and other surfaces such as tile, mirrors, countertops, sinks and toilets, etc.
• Loads and unloads trucks and other conveyances.
• Assists skilled workers during non-structural demolition on building interiors.
• Drives government or Chugach-owned vehicle to pick-up materials and transport labor, materials and tools to worksites.
