Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions is seeking a skilled Plumber to install, repair and maintain plumbing systems on-site at Annapolis Junction, MD. You will study plans, work from blueprints and perform preventative maintenance on pumps, heaters and drainage lines.

The role requires a Journeyman license or equivalent, 5+ years in plumbing, Backflow certification, and strong safety awareness. The position offers on-site work and a competitive pay rate of $37.36 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years plumbing experience in maintenance.
• Journeyman plumbing license or equivalent.
• Backflow prevention certification.
• Able to obtain Backflow Certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, replace and maintain plumbing components (urinals, sinks, toilets, fixtures).
• Service water heaters and related control devices.
• Cut openings in walls/floors and install pipes and fittings.
• Assemble valves, pipefittings and pipes from metals.
• Perform backflow testing and repairs.
• Respond to emergency site maintenance as required.
• Coordinate with other trades for material needs.
