Job summary

Packsize seeks a Resident Service Engineer for on-site installation, configuration, and maintenance of Packsize equipment in Salt Lake City, UT. You will train customers on product features, perform start-up testing, and build strong customer relationships while adhering to safety standards.

The role emphasizes problem-solving, hands-on mechanical work, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional service delivery to designated facilities.

Qualifications

• Customer service-focused with problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Windows platforms and basic software suites.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals.
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

• Schedule tasks at customer sites and coordinate on-site work.
• Troubleshoot issues using drawings and documentation.
• Collaborate with R&D, Software, and Quality Engineering teams.
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency services as needed.
• Analyze KPIs to identify machine performance issues and plan maintenance.
• Learn customer processes, packaging designs, and technical specs.
• Install Packsize solutions and train users on operation and upkeep.
• Prepare detailed technical reports and manage travel arrangements.
