Job summary

Packsize is seeking a Field Service Engineer for Salt Lake City, UT. The role involves installing, configuring, and maintaining packaging equipment at customer sites, delivering on-site training, and building strong customer relationships.

Occasional overnight travel and a Monday–Friday dayshift schedule apply. You will troubleshoot, perform maintenance, and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams while complying with safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset and strong communication skills.
• Comfort with Windows platforms and basic software.
• Proficient in using hand tools and basic measurement tools.
• Familiarity with mechanical assemblies and equipment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with MS Excel or Google Sheets is a plus.
• Associates Degree or vocational training or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule tasks at customer job sites.
• Troubleshoot issues using drawings and documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency services.
• Continuously learn about customer operations and packaging designs.
• Install Packsize solutions and train others to use them.
• Handle clerical duties: emails, travel, expense reports, and reporting.
