Peterson Technology Partners is seeking a hands-on Data Analyst to work with rewards and fuel loyalty teams in Irving, TX, onsite. You will own analysis tables, recurring reporting, and measure deal and reward performance for a large-scale retail loyalty program.

Responsibilities include building Databricks tables, developing Power BI dashboards, and analyzing loyalty and engagement data. This six-month contract role emphasizes data governance and clear insights for product leadership.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years in data analytics, product analytics or business intelligence.
• 3+ years writing SQL against large datasets.
• 3+ years of advanced SQL (joins, window functions) on cloud platforms such as Databricks.
• Experience building dashboards in Power BI (or Tableau) for business stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience analyzing loyalty, rewards or app engagement data.
• Proficient in Python (pandas or similar).
• Strong data quality and communication with product and engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Define KPIs with product managers and set up launch measurement.
• Build and maintain master analysis tables in Databricks.
• Create Power BI dashboards and recurring reports.
• Measure offer incrementality and use cohort methods.
• Analyze app engagement data alongside transaction data.
• Deliver ad hoc deep dives and present findings to leadership.
• Maintain analytics backlog and document methodologies and definitions.
• Follow data governance and privacy standards.
