Intuit Careers is seeking a TurboTax Local Service Expert to work onsite at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, expert advice, and software support while engaging with local clients to grow the business and foster long-term relationships.

You will collaborate with a team of specialists to deliver end-to-end tax solutions, expand the local client base, and promote the full Intuit ecosystem, including bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or attorney with strong tax prep experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax prep software; Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory with training by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Mon–Fri, for a minimum of 20 hours/week; uniforms provided.
• Must complete training and development as determined by business; willing to cross-train on other products.
• Must reside within the United States and be able to obtain related licenses/bonds.
• Active state licenses/certificates/bonds as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling personal and business income, deductions, and amendments.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions and maximize refunds.
• Be a community ambassador, growing local client base through outreach and events.
• Connect clients to complementary services like bookkeeping, payroll, or financial planning.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in person and via video tools.
• Build long-term client relationships and loyalty.
