Job summary

LHH is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal for an onsite contract opportunity with a respected law firm or corporate legal department in Raleigh. The ideal candidate will manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment and provide direct support to attorneys throughout all phases of litigation.

Responsibilities include assisting with all phases of litigation, drafting pleadings, managing discovery, and maintaining calendars.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court filing requirements.
• Experience managing discovery, document review, and trial preparation.

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys with all phases of litigation from case inception through trial.
• Prepare, draft, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Manage and organize case files, exhibits, and litigation databases.
• Coordinate document production and discovery processes.
• Conduct legal research and gather case-related information.
• Review, summarize, and analyze medical records, deposition transcripts, and legal documents.
• Monitor court deadlines and maintain litigation calendars.
• Prepare trial binders, exhibits, witness files, and hearing materials.
• Communicate professionally with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and vendors.
• Support attorneys with trial preparation and courtroom logistics.
