Job summary

F2OnSite is seeking an experienced Level 2 Desktop Support/End User Support Technician to provide onsite IT support in a professional enterprise environment in Salem, VA. The role focuses on supporting Windows desktops, printers, and end users with strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.

The candidate will configure, deploy, image, and troubleshoot computers, assist with IMAC activities, and coordinate with remote teams as needed.

Qualifications

2+ years in Level 2 desktop or end user support.
Strong troubleshooting for Windows 10/11.
Experience supporting Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365.
Hardware break/fix and deployment experience.
Printer and peripheral support experience.
Basic Active Directory knowledge (password resets, user accounts).
Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, connectivity).
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 2 desktop and end user support for hardware and software issues.
Configure, deploy, image, and troubleshoot desktop and laptop computers.
Support Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 applications.
Troubleshoot printers, peripherals, docking stations, and other endpoint devices.
Perform IMAC activities.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and basic network connectivity issues.
Assist with workstation deployments, hardware refreshes, and office moves.
Support conference room technology and peripheral devices as needed.
Create and update support tickets with detailed documentation.
Coordinate with remote support teams and escalate issues when appropriate.
Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting end users onsite.
