Job summary
Atlas Copco Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and improve processes, manufacturing capabilities, and cost efficiency. You will report to the Operations Manager and work with cross-functional teams to optimize production flows.
The role emphasizes lean principles, value engineering, and collaboration with suppliers to ensure smooth transitions from design to production. Onsite work in Minnesota with growth opportunities within a global technology leader.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly or operations environment.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles and 6S.
- Experience with CREO CAD and 3D CAD software.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems and data analysis.
Responsibilities
- Provide manufacturing engineering support to operations teams.
- Drive continuous improvement in quality, cycle times, cost reduction and process improvements.
- Develop routings, time studies, and balance assembly processes.
- Define and optimize manufacturing tooling and automated equipment.
- Maintain work procedures and specifications for equipment and testing.
- Support new product introductions from design to production.
