Atlas Copco US – Voorheesville, NY is seeking a Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations in a precision, engineered-to-order environment. You will oversee machining, assembly, testing, planning, and order management, driving safety, quality, and delivery performance while pursuing continuous improvement and strategic investments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of manufacturing operations leadership in precision/engineered-to-order environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proven leadership of CNC machining operations (turning, milling, mill-turn).
• Experience leading manufacturing engineering, planning/scheduling, and facilities.
• Strong Lean manufacturing expertise including 5S, Kaizen, standard work, root-cause analysis.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and manufacturing safety compliance.
• Experience with rotating machinery, capital equipment, or complex manufacturing environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations across machining, assembly, testing, planning, order management, and facilities.
• Drive safety, quality, and continuous improvement; ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Partner with Engineering to develop scalable manufacturing solutions and standardized processes.
• Lead production planning, scheduling, and order-to-shipment execution with clear priorities.
• Drive data-driven performance management and Lean initiatives (5S, Kaizen, root-cause analysis).
• Develop and coach supervisors, engineers, planners, and operations personnel.
