Job summary

PRIDE Industries is seeking a Landscape Lead to oversee maintenance at facilities, supervise staff, and ensure safe, pristine grounds. The role emphasizes training, safety compliance, and coordinating irrigation and lawn care activities.

The position reports to the Commercial Contracts group and supports custodial and landscape operations across sites. Requires knowledge of landscape practices and OSHA/CalOSHA safety standards; driver’s license preferred.

Qualifications

• At least one year of landscaping experience.
• Ability to train and direct employees to meet goals.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance standards, materials, and safety chemicals.
• Familiarity with CalOSHA/OSHA safety rules.
• Good written and spoken business English.
• Strong customer service and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee landscape maintenance, mowing, trimming, weed control and beds.
• Train staff, direct workflow, monitor progress to completion.
• Instruct on safe use of equipment and chemicals including fertilizer and pesticides.
• Supervise work to ensure safety, timeliness, and compliance.
• Monitor irrigation to ensure proper vegetation hydration.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
