Job summary

PRIDE Industries in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Landscape Lead to oversee landscape maintenance at multiple facilities. You will manage mowing, trimming, irrigation, and safety compliance under supervision and train staff.

Requires at least one year of landscaping experience, knowledge of safety regulations, and basic computer skills. The position is non-exempt, onsite, with a pay range of $20.50–$22.17 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least one year of landscaping experience.
• Ability to effectively train and direct employees to meet departmental goals/objectives.
• Knowledge of landscape maintenance standards, materials, and safe chemical use.
• Knowledge of departmental operations and policies.
• Knowledge of Cal OSHA and OSHA safety regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team and customers.
• Strong business English for written communication.
• Human relations skills to maintain working relationships.
• Customer service skills.
• Intermediate computer literacy including word processing, spreadsheets, databases and presentation software.
• Basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Demonstrated customer service, problem solving and common sense skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs landscape maintenance activities and keeps grounds in pristine condition.
• Trains employees, directs workflow, and monitors project progress.
• Provides instruction on safe use of equipment and chemicals.
• Oversees activities to ensure safety and adherence to procedures.
• Monitors irrigation systems to maintain proper vegetation watering.
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.
