Job summary

Taste of Home, part of TMB (Trusted Media Brands), is seeking a dedicated Dishwasher to support multiple kitchens and studios by washing and maintaining a clean stock of dishes and cookware, using commercial equipment or by hand.

You will circulate throughout areas to collect dirty items and return them to proper storage after washing, ensuring the dishwashing area remains clean, safe and sanitary for daily production.

Qualifications

• Previous operating experience with commercial grade dishwashing equipment in a food service setting is ideal.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and bend/stoop frequently is required.
• Ability to work in a team environment, calmly and effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils and cooking equipment through operating the commercial dishwasher in warewashing or by hand
• Carefully hand-wash prop dishes, keeping separated from all other dishes
• Carefully transport and store clean dishes in the proper storage area, kitchen or studio
• Maintain daily cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers and storage areas -This includes, but is not limited to, wiping counters, carts, coolers, trays, shelving, stovetops and ovens
• Perform other duties as assigned
