Job summary

Quest Food Management Services in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a dependable kitchen helper for dishwashing, pot washing, cleaning duties and proper storage of supplies. You will help maintain sanitation across the dish area, kitchen, cafeteria and loading dock.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow cleaning schedules, and adherence to food safety guidelines. A High School Diploma or equivalent and Food Handler certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic and understand measurements/conversions.
• Food Handler certification required by state/local rules.

Responsibilities

• Cascades Quest vision and values through daily actions.
• Set up cutting boards, trash cans, mats, dish machines and pot sinks.
• Organize pot shelves for easy access by staff.
• Wash soiled kitchen equipment, pots, pans, and small wares per sanitation standards.
• Empty trash and recycle appropriately and maintain cleanliness of floors.
• Sweep/mop kitchen and pot room floors at end of day.
• Operate dish machine and pot sink with proper chemicals and water.
• Record sanitizing solution concentrations in equipment.
• Clean and sanitize production equipment and work surfaces.
• Follow all Quest policies and food safety guidelines.
• Report to scheduled shifts on time in uniform.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
