Job summary

Alair Homes Alexandria is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support delivery of custom homes and residential renovations in the Alexandria and Metro DC area. The role emphasizes organization, problem solving, and hands-on construction knowledge.

You will work with our PM team to coordinate schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client communications, with growth potential into a larger PM role. Competitive salary range $70,000–$85,000 and comprehensive company-paid benefits, plus bonus

Qualifications

• 2+ years of residential construction experience.
• Knowledge of residential construction processes, materials and sequencing.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software and systems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear and professional communication with clients, trade partners and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet commitments.
• Practical problem-solving skills and good judgment.
• Desire to grow into a larger project management role.
• Team player who can work independently and with others.
• Experience with construction management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with planning and execution of custom homes and renovations.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, architects and designers.
• Assist with project schedules, budgets, procurement and documentation.
• Conduct job site visits and monitor progress, quality and schedule.
• Maintain accurate project information using construction management systems.
• Participate in project meetings and client communications.
• Learn Alair's PM processes and grow into independent management.
