Job summary

CHG Group, Inc. is seeking an IT System Administrator to provide hands-on Tier 2/3 helpdesk support and system administration for endpoints, networks, and infrastructure.

The role supports both onsite and remote users and coordinates with a Managed IT Services Partner to ensure seamless IT operations. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in CS or IT, 5+ years in similar roles, and exposure to Intune Autopilot, cybersecurity concepts, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• CompTIA A+, CompTIA Security+ or MS-900 certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on in-person and remote IT support for end users and systems.
• Handle escalated tickets requiring deeper organizational context.
• Support device lifecycle tasks including imaging, hardware setup, workstation refreshes, and inventory.
• Deploy and support on-site desk equipment and shared resources.
• Resolve software, configuration, and access issues.
• Perform hardware diagnostics, repairs, and coordinate vendor service as needed.
• Support networking components including switch ports, Wi-Fi, and connectivity issues.
• Assist with IT projects requiring onsite presence and coordination with third parties.
• Document IT processes and maintain up-to-date documentation.
• Utilize PowerShell for automation of tasks.
