Job summary

Forward Air Corp. in Greeneville, TN, seeks an IT Support Specialist to provide onsite and remote assistance for hardware, software, and peripherals. You will deploy devices, configure laptops and mobile gear, and help users with account and network issues.

Ideal candidates have 0–2 years in IT support, knowledge of Windows and MS 365, strong troubleshooting and customer service, and the willingness to learn new technologies. CompTIA A+ is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of IT support, technical, or customer service experience.
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, computer hardware, and printers.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to learn new technologies and work independently.
• Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+ are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite and remote support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues.
• Deploy, configure, and replace laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
• Support printers, scanners, and other office technology.
• Assist with user onboarding, equipment setup, and account-related requests.
• Perform basic network and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff.
• Deliver excellent customer service to end users.
