Job summary

REHAU Water Technologies in Cullman, Alabama is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide onsite technology support for our manufacturing facility. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, and network issues, and assist employees across production, operations, and administration with timely, friendly service.

The role requires strong customer service, clear communication, and the ability to work onsite.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience providing IT, help desk, desktop support, or similar technology assistance.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Working knowledge of Windows-based computers, Microsoft Office/M365, printers, mobile devices, and common business applications.
• Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting principles.
• Ability to diagnose problems and escalate when needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite at Cullman, AL facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues.
• Troubleshoot and resolve common issues involving computers, printers, mobile devices, applications, and other workplace technology.
• Set up, configure, deploy, and maintain computers, monitors, printers, and related equipment.
• Support new employee technology setup, including hardware preparation and system access.
• Respond to IT service requests and troubleshoot issues professionally and promptly.
• Document incidents, service requests, and resolutions in the IT system.
• Assist with basic system administration per security procedures.
• Coordinate with local IT teams on technology projects and upgrades.
