Job summary

Eastern Companies, a Georgia-based general contractor, is hiring its first in-house IT Support Technician to be the face of IT at the Georgia office, working with our MSP and supporting a growing Microsoft 365 environment and CMMC Level 2 program.

You will handle Tier 1 and Tier 2 tickets for 200+ users, manage Intune devices, Entra ID/AD, SharePoint, and PowerShell, coordinating with the MSP to resolve issues while onboarding new hires and maintaining our IT knowledge base.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years hands-on IT support in a business environment.
• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive).
• Hands-on experience with Entra ID or Active Directory: user provisioning, group management, password and MFA support.
• Experience with Intune or another MDM platform, including device enrollment and policy assignment.
• Comfortable running and modifying PowerShell scripts for Microsoft 365 administration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for IT support requests across 200+ users.
• Resolve Tier 1 issues: password resets, account lockouts, Outlook/Teams, OneDrive/SharePoint, printers.
• Handle Tier 2 work independently: Intune policy adjustments, SharePoint permissions, Power Automate, Entra ID management.
• Escalate complex architecture, security, and infrastructure issues to our MSP and track resolution.
• Onboard/offboard employees: accounts, devices, provisioning; support device enrollment via Intune and ABM.
