Job summary

Xantrion is seeking a customer-focused IT Field Technician to deliver onsite support across client locations in Canada. This entry-level role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, strong communication, and reliable service delivery in a professional environment.

You will manage tickets, coordinate hardware logistics, and ensure accurate asset records while supporting end users and maintaining operational readiness from your hub location.

Qualifications

• Technical understanding of Windows environments and Microsoft 365
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and service management workflows
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, networking, and peripherals
• Experience supporting printers, docking stations, monitors, and conference room tech
• Ability to manage assets and inventory

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, printers, conferencing, and peripherals
• Diagnose hardware, software, OS, and connectivity issues and resolve them promptly
• Manage service requests through ticketing system with clear notes and updates
• Coordinate equipment staging, imaging, shipping, and receiving as needed
• Maintain inventory accuracy and asset records at hub locations
• Assist with workstation setups, office moves, and user onboarding
• Ensure documentation and compliance with client security requirements
