Job summary

Backyard Products, LLC is seeking an IT Support Technician to provide hands-on technology support across the Dallas Warehouse and Plano office. You’ll be the primary IT resource for approximately 120 employees across two environments, collaborating with the VP of Technology and IT team.

You will manage desktop and device setup, Microsoft 365, printers, conference rooms, and mobile devices while tackling day-to-day incidents, onboarding/offboarding, and IT documentation.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on IT support experience, onsite.
• Experience supporting Windows computers and laptops.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
• Practical understanding of network troubleshooting, including wired/Wi‑Fi, VPN, DNS, and networked printers.
• Experience in a warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or shipping environment.
• Familiarity with Zebra printers, scanning equipment, shipping software, Dynamics 365, or Pacejet.
• A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite IT resource for approximately 120 employees across the Dallas warehouse and Plano office.
• Keep day-to-day technology running reliably so warehouse, sales, creative, customer service, and other teams can work effectively.
• Provide hands‑on troubleshooting while also identifying opportunities to prevent recurring problems.
• Work independently while staying connected to the central IT team and VP of Technology.
• Manage support requests through the Freshdesk ticketing system.
• Assist with user accounts, permissions, passwords, MFA, Microsoft Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Maintain technology and equipment inventories.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs, replacements, RMAs, and supplies.
• Document solutions so that problems can be resolved more efficiently in the future.
