Job summary
AVI Foodsystems is seeking an IT Support Specialist at our Headquarters location in Warren, OH. This on-site role supports a large user base, manages tickets, and maintains technology assets.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting hardware/software, supporting Windows/AD, POS systems, and coordinating vendor support. Validating resolutions and presenting user-friendly guidance are key components of success.
Qualifications
- Experience in hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
- Customer service training and/or experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of IT support experience or IT-focused education.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% of scheduled hours.
Responsibilities
- Support 350 local users and 1,700 remote users.
- Track issues and solutions in the helpdesk system.
- Maintain inventory of tech assets (hardware, software, licenses).
- Resolve issues with computers, printers, peripherals, and phones.
- Support Windows, Office, Active Directory, and other software.
- Assist with setup for presentations and onboarding of users.
