Job summary

Dexian Government Solutions is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to work onsite at NMCP IM/IT in Portsmouth, VA. You will assist customers, describe functionality, troubleshoot issues, monitor system availability, and manage ticketing with sponsor tools.

Responsibilities include site surveys, network topology design, hardware/software installations, diagnostics, and training site personnel on Windows & Office apps. A strong IT equipment background and certifications are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' combined experience in IT equipment installation.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Experience training personnel on installed equipment.
• Preferred: Microsoft Certified IT Professional / MTA certifications.

Responsibilities

• Handle all customer and field maintenance support issues for NMCP IM/IT.
• Provide management, field tech support, and R&D workstation/client support.
• Conduct site surveys and document current site configuration and user requirements.
• Design and optimize network topologies and prepare installation packages.
• Install and configure hardware/software; train site personnel on usage.
• Troubleshoot software problems and coordinate updates with users.
