Job summary
EmergeOrtho is seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our on-site team in the Triangle Region of North Carolina. The role focuses on customer-service oriented technical support for physicians and staff, with responsibilities spanning service desk tasks, server, and network troubleshooting to ensure efficient operations.
Qualified candidates will have an AAS in Information Technology or equivalent, at least 2 years in a medical office setting, and strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- AAS degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
- At least 2 years’ experience in a medical office environment preferred.
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and software problems on PCs and networks.
- Familiarity with client/server concepts and networking design.
- Ability to install and configure computer equipment and adapt to new tech.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Interface with providers and staff to troubleshoot hardware and software.
- Create and manage support tickets for issues.
- Install and configure software and computer systems.
- Analyze records and logs to identify trends.
- Support new solutions and assist in testing applications.
- Attend meetings and provide technical insights.
