Job summary

EmergeOrtho is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide both remote and on-site technical support to providers and staff. The role serves as the first point of contact for IT issues, handling user access, IT assets, and procurement processes, with a focus on cybersecurity monitoring, incident response, and compliance support.

This position will support locations throughout Carteret and Onslow Counties with travel as needed, and may require occasional office visits.

Qualifications

• 2-year AAS degree in IT or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical office environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting hardware and software.
• Knowledge of client/server system concepts.
• Knowledge of networking design concepts.
• Ability to install and configure computer equipment.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing technology.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interface with providers and staff to troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
• Create support trouble tickets for all support-related issues.
• Install and configure software and computer systems.
• Analyze records and logs to spot underlying trends and issues.
• Support the implementation of new solutions and applications.
• Participate in testing and evaluation of new applications and processes.
• Assist in password or login problems with corporate applications and systems.
• Participate in business-wide meetings, providing IT insights and recommendations.
