Job summary

MSC Industrial Supply Co. is seeking an IT Support professional to assist the Customer Fulfillment Center and Call Center. You will install, configure, troubleshoot, and train users on PC/LAN software, hardware, AS/400 terminals, Avaya IP phones, and warehouse automation systems.

You will provide 1st/2nd level end-user support, maintain system documentation, and participate in on-call coverage. Requires associate degree or 2 years IT experience and hands-on knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or the equivalent of 2 years in IT support is required.
• Minimum two years' experience supporting Microsoft 365, Cisco switches, HP Windows Servers, and ArcServe backup software.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support to the Customer Fulfillment Center (CFC) and Call Center (CC) including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software.
• Offer 1st and 2nd level end user and systems support; maintain system documentation.
• Provide 24x7 on-call support for IS-related activities; adhere to change control procedures and security standards.
• Coordinate with Facilities and vendors for on-site work and maintain cabling, network, and warehouse automation systems.
