Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking an IT Helpdesk Associate to deliver foundational technical support and troubleshoot basic hardware, software, and digital service issues. You will work under moderate supervision to provide timely solutions and maintain user access.

This is a fully onsite position; candidates must be available to work five days per week and are expected to follow established procedures while documenting activities in the ticketing system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education and prior relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical support.
• Knowledge in information systems networks.
• Associate degree or IT-related coursework is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers foundational technical support and troubleshooting for basic hardware, software, and digital service issues.
• Assists in tracking, diagnosis, and resolution of technical problems under moderate supervision.
• Escalates unresolved issues to higher-level teams following procedures.
• Supports deskside device setup, maintenance, and user assistance as needed.
• Documents activities and user interactions in the ticketing system.
• Follows established technology standards, policies, and procedures.
• Supports daily activities within technical support teams.
