Job summary

NTT DATA seeks an IT Desktop Support Technician II to join our Bethesda, Maryland team. You will deliver deskside support across Windows, Mac, and Linux environments for a large biomedical research institute, addressing hardware, software, and networking issues on a fast-paced, user‑centric basis.

The role emphasizes imaging, deployment, and on-site/off-site troubleshooting, with strong communication to end users and collaboration with IT colleagues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of desktop support, field support, help desk, or similar IT role.
• 2+ years of experience with Windows 10/11.
• 2+ years of experience supporting Windows desktops and laptops.
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, and other business apps.
• 2+ years of experience installing and configuring computer hardware, software, printers, and peripherals.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and 2 desktop, laptop, printer, mobile device, and peripheral support.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and OS issues.
• Install, image, upgrade, and maintain desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Perform on-site and remote troubleshooting.
• Support Windows/Mac operating systems and Microsoft 365 apps.
• Manage user accounts, devices, and software configurations in line with IT standards.
