Emergent Staffing is seeking an IT Support Specialist for an onsite role in Glastonbury, CT, serving employees, leadership, remote users, and project sites. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 issues while maintaining ticket documentation and ITSM practices.

The role involves an on-call rotation, occasional extended hours, and limited travel to project sites. The ideal candidate has hands-on Help Desk experience, a strong customer-service mindset, and the ability to adapt

Qualifications

Six months to one year of professional IT Help Desk or desktop support experience.
Familiar with incidents, service requests, ticketing, prioritization, escalation, and resolution.
Experience troubleshooting Windows endpoints, Microsoft 365, and mobile devices.
Experience using Jira or similar ITSM platforms.
Ability to troubleshoot remotely and onsite; strong communication and organization skills.

Responsabilités

Serve as primary contact for IT incidents and service requests via in person, phone, Teams, and remote tools.
Troubleshoot Level 1 issues and assist with Level 2/3 requests as needed.
Support Windows devices, Microsoft 365, iPads and iPhones, printers, and peripherals.
Create and close tickets in Jira with accurate notes following ITSM processes.
Assist with onboarding/offboarding accounts, permissions, and equipment provisioning.
Assist with device deployment, Intune, Active Directory, and IT administration tasks.
