Job summary
Thomson Reuters in Eagan, MN is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Operations Technical Support Specialist (Contract) to provide onsite IT support for print production. You will troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and production equipment to keep manufacturing running with minimal downtime.
You’ll install software, deploy hardware, manage tickets in ServiceNow, and work with vendors on escalations.
Qualifications
- Hands-on IT support experience in an enterprise or manufacturing setting.
- Strong troubleshooting across Windows desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and basic networking.
- Ability to prioritize issues and stay calm during production-impacting incidents.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and wear PPE in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot plant-floor printers and related hardware and consumables.
- Support Windows and macOS desktops and laptops onsite.
- Install software, configure devices, and deploy hardware.
- Manage and resolve IT tickets in ServiceNow or similar ITSM platform.
- Document issues and resolutions and track recurring trends.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets and printer supplies.
- Collaborate with vendors on escalated printer issues.
- Participate in hardware refreshes and software rollouts.
