Job summary

Holland & Knight in Washington, DC is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide on-site technical support for attorneys and staff, covering PCs, phones, AV, and IT infrastructure. The role reports to the IT Support Manager.

You will document incidents in ServiceNow, assist with events, conferences, and meetings, and work with internal IT groups on projects. A Bachelor’s degree and IT certifications or equivalent experience are required; travel to other HK sites may be needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a corporate environment.
• 3+ years technical support experience.
• Experience with Windows 10 and MS Office (Outlook/Word).
• Experience supporting Cisco VoIP & voicemail.
• Experience with Zoom & MS Teams web conferencing.
• Experience with Apple & Android devices.
• Printers & multifunction devices experience.
• ServiceNow incident logging experience.
• Network troubleshooting knowledge.
• Server/network room operations: patching, power & cooling.
• Audio-visual equipment support experience.
• Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Team-oriented with minimal supervision.
• Ability to travel and work at HK sites.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• On-site work at Holland & Knight offices.

Responsibilities

• Support all PCs, phones, IT peripherals and IT infrastructure in the office.
• Document work in IT incident ticketing system thoroughly.
• Provide support for incidents escalated from IT Technicians or Service Desk.
• Provide technical support during events, conferences and meetings on-site or off-site as needed.
• Support office administration activities, projects and priorities as assigned.
• Coordinate with internal IT groups during projects and activities.
• Respond to outages (power, HVAC, network) planned or unplanned.
• Handle special projects and duties as assigned.
