Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an IT Support Analyst I to provide onsite end-user computing support in our Wood River/Roxana refinery environment. You will handle desktop/mobile support, hardware refreshes, and coordination with infrastructure teams to keep systems secure and efficient.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, customer focus, and the ability to work safely in an operating refinery. On-site schedule is M-F with potential weekend support during outages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, CS, or related field or equivalent experience.
• A+ Certification preferred.
• 4–5 years in an IT discipline preferred.
• 2+ years supporting refining or midstream IT assets.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting data center infrastructure.
• Strong leadership, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build trust with customers, partners, and teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic refinery environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• TWIC eligibility and clean DMV record.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite deskside support for end-user computing in refinery facilities.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, mobile devices, and radio programming.
• Coordinate with resources and suppliers for projects and refresh activities.
• Partner with local business teams and stakeholders to support IT needs.
• Collaborate with central infrastructure to plan network and hardware refreshes.
• Maintain documentation for systems, devices, and processes.
• Contribute to IT service delivery improvements and safety standards.
