Job summary

Alicat Scientific, Inc. is seeking an IT Associate to provide reliable onsite IT support and contribute to the stability, security, and continuous improvement of our IT infrastructure in a manufacturing and engineering environment.

Based at our Marana, AZ site, you will diagnose issues, deploy systems, manage Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and support Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 for end users.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, or 3–5 years of IT support experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
• Solid networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
• Experience using ticketing systems and maintaining technical documentation.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced onsite manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary onsite IT support resource for Windows-based desktops, laptops, peripherals, and Microsoft 365 services.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, operating system, application, server, and network connectivity issues.
• Administer Windows Server infrastructure including Active Directory, file services, DNS, and DHCP.
• Support wired and wireless networking, VPN connectivity, and remote access solutions.
• Deploy systems and devices, imaging, software installation, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Manage and document IT support tickets with accuracy.
• Identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.
• Assist with server, network, and endpoint maintenance and IT projects.
• Adhere to IT policies, security standards, and change management.
• Collaborate with IT team, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical users.
• Support production-floor and engineering systems as required.
• Participate in after-hours maintenance windows or on-call rotations.
