Job summary

Alicat Scientific in Marana, AZ is seeking a mid-level IT Associate to provide reliable onsite IT support and help maintain the company’s IT infrastructure in a manufacturing environment. You will support end users, servers, and network systems, deploy imaging and patching, manage Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP, and ensure security and change-management practices.

Strong customer service and documentation are essential, with occasional after-hours maintenance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field OR 3–5 years progressive IT support experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 administration and support.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server environments and Active Directory.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues independently.
• Experience with ticketing systems and maintaining technical documentation.
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced onsite manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support for Windows desktops, laptops, peripherals, and MS 365 services.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, OS, server, and network issues.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP.
• Support wired/wireless networking, VPN connectivity, and remote access.
• Deploy systems, imaging, software installation, patching, and lifecycle management.
• Manage IT tickets with accurate and timely documentation.
• Assist with server, network, and endpoint maintenance and IT projects.
• Ensure IT policies, security standards, and change-management procedures.
• Collaborate with IT team members, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Support production-floor and engineering systems as required; participate in after-hours maintenance.
