Job summary

Insight Enterprises in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Services Technician to install, modify, repair, test, and service computer systems and networking equipment onsite. You will work on hardware, software configuration, cabling, and network devices while documenting all activities for clients and internal teams.

The role requires an A+ and vendor hardware certifications, 1+ year hardware troubleshooting, and strong Windows OS knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or 2 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems and vendor diagnostics.
A+ certification and at least one vendor hardware certification required.
Minimum of one year hardware troubleshooting experience including laptops and desktops for Tier One vendors.

Responsibilities

Performs hardware repairs and tests, identifies problems, and minimizes client downtime.
Installs and tests system hardware, follows instructions, and completes required documentation.
Installs, tests, and configures network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, VPN devices).
Performs server hardware support, testing, and NOS applications support.
Unpacks/packs devices and follows vendor and Insight procedures.
