Job summary

NRI North America is seeking an IT Technical Support Engineer to provide onsite onboarding support, imaging, and IT operations duties at our client site in Ashburn, VA. The role emphasizes hands-on device preparation, asset management, and rapid issue resolution with collaboration from a remote support resource.

The ideal candidate brings desktop support experience, familiarity with imaging, and strong organizational skills to maintain asset records and ensure a smooth onboarding experience for

Qualifications

• Experience in desktop support, IT provisioning, hardware deployment, or technical support.
• Familiarity with workstation imaging and deployment processes.
• Experience with IT asset management and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, image, configure, deploy, and ship laptops, monitors, mobile devices, and other IT equipment for new hires and existing employees.
• Maintain accurate IT asset inventory, equipment lifecycle records, asset tagging, and storage organization.
• Coordinate hardware procurement, purchase orders, and vendor relationships for IT equipment and services.
• Manage corporate mobile devices and Verizon services, including activations, terminations, inventory, and monthly billing reconciliation.
• Support user account provisioning, software licensing, MFA, Group Policy, and other system administration tasks.
• Assist with legal requests for archived email, file, and data retrieval.
• Provide onsite support for conference room AV/VTC technology, printers, network connectivity, structured cabling, and office infrastructure.
