Job summary

Stefanini Group is seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist/Network Security Specialist for an onsite role in Wendell, NC. You will coordinate WAN/LAN infrastructure, manage vendors, and work with cybersecurity teams to secure multi-site environments.

The role requires 6–8+ years in IT infrastructure, with experience in factory/OT settings and strong stakeholder communication. Onsite, first shift, Monday and Friday. Pay range is $45-50 per hour on W2.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in IT related field.
• 6–8+ years IT infrastructure experience across multi-site environments.
• Experience with WAN/LAN and infrastructure service delivery.
• Experience coordinating incidents, escalations, and major outages.
• Exposure to factory/OT environments and cybersecurity alignment.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Vendor management and governance experience.

Responsibilities

• Own WAN-related requests: circuits, upgrades, service changes.
• Lead operational reviews with WAN providers on delivery and quality.
• Perform bandwidth planning to support growth and new sites.
• Coordinate LAN deployments, VLAN additions, and expansions.
• Ensure changes follow governance and are well-documented.
• Support readiness for site expansions and factory changes.
• Align IT and OT networks for secure operations.
• Review designs for reliability, security, and continuity.
• Identify risks, gaps, and mitigation plans with vendors.
• Balance global governance with local factory needs.
