Job summary

The Information Technology (IT) Help Desk at nLIGHT-DEFENSE Systems, Inc. provides first-line technical support via phone, email, and in person for Longmont and remote teams.

The role covers software, hardware, and OS issues, with on-call rotation and a focus on security and customer service. Based in Longmont, CO, the position requires an ability to work independently, manage tickets in Jira SM, and support enterprise apps like Office 365 and SharePoint while ensuring data integrity and

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on IT help desk experience.
• Associate's Degree or technical-equivalent required; Bachelor's preferred.
• A+ or comparable hardware certification desired.
• MCTS or other IT certifications are a plus.
• Experience in manufacturing or similar environments preferred.
• Ability to work onsite in Longmont, CO and travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide user assistance with Windows 7/10/11, and other OS environments.
• Support desktop, laptop, and mobile devices in person and remotely.
• Manage Active Directory users, computers, and groups; support Office 365.
• Troubleshoot and repair hardware; perform diagnostics.
• Maintain asset inventory for PCs and related materials.
• Provide support for audio/video conferencing systems.
• Respond to service requests and document work in Jira SM.
• Offer direct technical support to executive staff; assist with enterprise applications.
