Job summary

BEAR Technologies is seeking a highly motivated Help Desk Technician to join our MSP team. You will be the first line of contact for end-users, providing expert troubleshooting, prompt resolution, and clear communication across Windows platforms.

You will configure desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals, manage AD and Office 365 permissions, and escalate complex issues as needed. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

5+ years in a help desk or similar technical support role.
Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems.
Experience with Active Directory, Office 365, and remote support tools.
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications such as HDI-CSR, AB-900, AZ-900, and/or CompTIA A+ are a plus.

Responsibilities

Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system in a professional and timely manner.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on Windows platforms.
Set up and configure desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights using Active Directory and Office 365.
Escalate complex issues to Tier 2 support or relevant departments as needed.
Contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives and suggest workflow enhancements.
Document and maintain accurate records of support interactions and solutions.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance troubleshooting capabilities.
